But my care goes beyond outcomes alone. I am not here to support home birth at any cost. I honor sovereignty, autonomy, self-knowledge, and self-responsibility. I also recognise that there are moments when skilled, compassionate assistance is essential for some beings to cross the birth threshold safely. From a visceral, primal, and soul-deep knowing—and from lived experience—I understand that our arrival into the world leaves an imprint on our biography at a cellular level. How we are born matters.   • This year I’ve not put much effort into this corner of my business.. you’ve probably saw more of my travels than birth content and if I’m honest that’s ok because.. …in 8 months I did over 200 appointments.. Worked with people in their eighties and with babies less than a week old Held some incredible women through the portal of birth and death Shared skills and learned so much from so many I came into contact with Spent 4 months of this year abroad, traveled in 5 different countries and set foot in 3 different continents.. A challenging and enriching year! Feeling so grateful and ready for the opportunity to do and share more what I love in 2026.

  • I once said to my business coach that everytime I try to explain or describe La Cerrada Ceremony to someone I fail to do it justice. What I can say about the Herbal Bath is that here is where the real alchemy happens. The combination of the intense heat, the darkness, the steam, the small enclosed space, the aromatic & herbal scent, and also importantly, the woman holding space offering attuned guidance, leads the mother to a place between worlds. In the tent she can be wild and primal. And revisit and complete her birth through her body. The herbal bath is a recreation of the Temaskal, the sweat lodge that symbolises the womb of Mother Earth. Here we offer an opportunity to release and cleanse, to wash away the pain, repressed and suppressed emotions, grief, anger. This ritual has 4 stages and the healing art of touch is the first step. 💆🏻‍♀️ In this part of the ceremony we work with the element EARTH. Grounding the mother through touch, warm oils and long strokes. We soothe the body, inviting her to release tension and any mental agitation. Here we give space for her to be held safely and enjoy a pleasurable and nurturing full body massage. I have over 15 years of experience of working with manual therapies and I love sharing these skills with other birth and body workers. 🔥 It’s part of my mission to pass on my skills to my community so more mothers get to be NURTURED, HELD and brought BACK TO WHOLENESS through this powerful and profound ritual.   • La Cerrada Workshop in Bath In this workshop you will learn step-by-step, the process of the Mexican Postpartum Ritual in each of it’s 4 stages: 💆🏽‍♀️ Full body massage 🌿 Herbal Bath 🔥 Sweating 🌀 Closing with the Rebozos You will be given an in depth understanding of the sacred essence within the closing ritual including a detailed explanation of each stage, learning the skills to offer this ceremony with confidence. This will be an experiential workshop where you will practice this ceremony in depth, in a fun and friendly environment, gaining hands on experience. You will learn the healing art of intuitive touch, massage and rebozo as well as the medicinal use of plants to strengthen, vitalise, heal, warm and cleanse a woman’s body in postpartum. You will be given the tools to create a sacred space, holding reverence and respect.
