I believe in creating a safe space to explore and express your authentic feelings and thoughts. Here we take responsibility and reclaim our autonomy. I help women find their way back home to themselves, holding the lamp and walking with you side by side, bearing the light. We will work with the physiology and birth design, creating space to alchemise your fears and insecurities, inviting you to surrender and building self-trust.

Birth is a spiritual initiation, a reclamation, a liminal space as you navigate through the birth portal feeling loved, respected, and revered.

Antenatal

  • Four antenatal sessions, together we will build a strong foundation for to you feel confident and prepared to birth your baby at home
  • We will explore birth physiology, variations of normal and what to expect

Birth

  • On call for you 24/7 from week 38 until your baby is born
  • Continuous birth support
  • After your baby is born I will remain with you for the first golden hours to support you in establishing feeding as well as offer any practical help needed
  • If you happen to transfer to hospital, I’ll accompany you and stay with you as long as possible
  • I can assist you with Cord Burning as well as making placenta prints, preparing a smoothie and for freezing and consumption

Postpartum

  • Two postnatal visits
  • Emotional, physical and practical support
  • Time to share your birth story

  • I once said to my business coach that everytime I try to explain or describe La Cerrada Ceremony to someone I fail to do it justice. What I can say about the Herbal Bath is that here is where the real alchemy happens. The combination of the intense heat, the darkness, the steam, the small enclosed space, the aromatic & herbal scent, and also importantly, the woman holding space offering attuned guidance, leads the mother to a place between worlds. This ritual has 4 stages and the healing art of touch is the first step. 💆🏻‍♀️ In this part of the ceremony we work with the element EARTH. Grounding the mother through touch, warm oils and long strokes. We soothe the body, inviting her to release tension and any mental agitation. Here we give space for her to be held safely and enjoy a pleasurable and nurturing full body massage. I have over 15 years of experience of working with manual therapies and I love sharing these skills with other birth and body workers. 🔥 It’s part of my mission to pass on my skills to my community so more mothers get to be NURTURED, HELD and brought BACK TO WHOLENESS through this powerful and profound ritual.   • La Cerrada Workshop in Bath In this workshop you will learn step-by-step, the process of the Mexican Postpartum Ritual in each of it’s 4 stages: 💆🏽‍♀️ Full body massage 🌿 Herbal Bath 🔥 Sweating 🌀 Closing with the Rebozos You will be given an in depth understanding of the sacred essence within the closing ritual including a detailed explanation of each stage, learning the skills to offer this ceremony with confidence. This will be an experiential workshop where you will practice this ceremony in depth, in a fun and friendly environment, gaining hands on experience. You will learn the healing art of intuitive touch, massage and rebozo as well as the medicinal use of plants to strengthen, vitalise, heal, warm and cleanse a woman’s body in postpartum.   • The body holds us through it all. It stores information and gathers memories; the good and the ones that hinder our freedom and impact our wellbeing. I’ve been intentionally working and channelling healing through and with my hands for almost two decades. I feel a deep and divine connection when I touch my clients’ bodies and get to listen to their stories between my fingers.  I feel the memory, I access information and use my intuition to guide my hands and facilitate the release of physical and energetic blocks. I combine the art of massage with ancient medicine systems such as Ayurveda, Chinese Medicine, Shamanism as wel as natural healing modalities like Reichian therapy, TRE, Herbalism, Reflexology and the use of the Mexican Rebozo, a handwoven cotton scarf traditionally used for pregnancy, birth and beyond. I have a deep passion for movement, dance, yoga, martial arts and somatic work. When I’m massaging my clients, I’m dancing with my hands. In this dance I’m encouraging their bodies return to wholeness and for them to feel embodied, allowing more pleasure and freedom into their lives. The sessions usually last between 1-2hours depending on what you are looking for and what your needs are.
